NWCDC Fishing Season
2008 SEASON-RESERVOIRS
The NWCDC fishing and boating season for Oak Ridge, Clinton and Canistear Reservoirs traditionally opens in early to mid-April and normally is consistent with the New Jersey Division of Fish Game and Wildlife's opening day. The end of the season is normally mid-October.
2008 SEASON-STREAM FISHING
In 2008 the Pequannock River, with its designation as a wild trout stream will re-open to fishing by permit. This program continues to be an experimental program subject to yearly review.
The NWCDC fishing season for that portion of the Pequannock River open to fishing and so described in the Stream Fishing Information Sheet, opens concurrent with the reservoir season on Saturday, April 7th. The stream fishing ends on Monday, October 15th.
