NWCDC Horseback
Rules and Regulations
1. Each person who wishes to ride on Newark Watershed property must obtain a valid NWCDC Riding Permit.
2. Riding is restricted to those marked trails indicated on the accompanying map.
While the NWCDC does acknowledge that many informal trails do exist, only those indicated on the map are approved for use.
3. Riders must carry their permit while riding and should conspicuously display the NWCDC decals on their vehicles inside left rear window in the lower right hand corner.
4. Riding is prohibited on or through those areas posted or designated as restricted.
5. Related uses such as photography and bird watching are permitted under this permit.
6. NO fires, swimming, littering , or unleashed pets, sunbathing, picnicking, all-terrain vehicles, or camping is permitted on Watershed property.
7. Access is specifically DENIED to, or along, Clinton Falls, Clinton Furnace, or Cross Castle.
8. Access is specifically DENIED to, or along, the marked trail adjacent to Echo Lake, and the marked trail adjacent to the west side of Clinton Reservoir (Clinton West) and Buckabear Pond (BWC).
9. Horseback riding will be permitted from sunrise to sunset.
